PS: Write To Speech

1 minute read

Description:

Use Powershell to get your computer to talk

To Resolve:

  1. So this is one of those things that you first start toying around with when you first start learning Powershell.

    $Speaker = New-Object -ComObject Sapi.SpVoice
    $null = $Speaker.Speak($Text)

  2. Use this code to remotely have another user hear what you type:

    Enter-PSSession -ComputerName AHoleUser -Credential (Get-Credential)
    @'
    Add-Type -Language CsharpVersion3 -TypeDefinition @'
    using System.Runtime.InteropServices;

  3. I tested the following code in my lab and it worked! It takes a while to run, but it does work! I wouldn’t ever do this though because it would unprofessional. Cool to learn though.

  4. This can be found in my gwMisc section.
